The Tour on 1st of May
Some of the visitors might not know what this is all about. The first of May (”Erster Mai” in German) is the important holiday “day of labour”. Since 1998, each 1st of May, a group of young people do a tour from Nussloch in Baden to Ochsenbach and back again. They pull a self-built wagon with beverages and music on it. During the years that wagon has developed into a high-tech landship and these pages present it, the tours and the team.
The latest meta-slogan is “Pimp Mai Ride”, because it sounds like the famous TV-show “pimp my ride”, but includes the fact, that it takes place on the first of May (Mai in German is pronounced exactly like my in English).
